The Menstrual Tango was originally conceived for Smash the Beautocracy, an anti-fashion show produced at the Memorial Union Great Hall sponsored by the Madison chapter of NOW. Menstrual tango is a humorously serious treatment of a cyclical phenomenon, complete with chocolate cake.
